We are currently working with a local government body based in North West London, recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join them on a 3 month maternity contract basis. A salary of £49,499 is on offer plus a generous holiday allowance of 28 days annual leave + bank holidays (on a pro rata basis). To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you must be a fully qualified member of one of the below CCABs:
Alongside this, you should have two years post qualification experience within a financial accounts team. You`ll have good exposure to financial reporting, an understanding of delivering value added financial reporting and annual accounts preparation. You should also have a track record of building strong rapport with a wide range of internal and external organisations, partners and stakeholders.
Ideally you`ll also have some exposure or understanding of central government or public sector financial reporting frameworks, and good knowledge of the Treasury FREM although these points are not essential.
