Brook Streets client is looking for a Financial Administrator to provide exceptional administrative and support services to the Commercial Waste Team to deliver continuous customer service and support service improvements and outcomes.


Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Location: Cambridge (CB25 area)
Pay: £11.00 - £12.10 ph
Start date: ASAP
Placement length: 2 months with possibility to extend


Our client needs a candidate with good attention to detail, who is a team player but equally comfortable working well on your own. You will have a customer service background as well as administration and understanding of processing invoices and raising purchase orders.


You'll be working on Microsoft Software packages so you'll be confident using those with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.


Duties will include:

  • Monitor and review customer accounts. This could include taking card payments over the phone, maintenance of accounts, raising of purchase orders, invoices, processing of invoices, administration of office petty cash etc.
  • Provide exceptional administration, performance management, financial and customer support services
  • Organising meetings, sending out agendas, welcoming guests, taking minutes, diary management, booking locations etc
  • Provide reports to the Data Team and management as required
  • Creating and maintaining both hard and soft copy of files
  • Use of accounting/finance packages such as T1
