Job title: Financial Controller 12 Month Maternity Cover
Hours: 37.5 Monday - Friday
My client is a globally successful organisation whose products are used in the fields of construction, automotive and industry. They are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join their UK Head office located in Herefordshire on a 12 month Maternity Cover contract. The business has a fantastic reputation for the development of their staff and creating a progressive and dynamic work environment.
Financial Controller responsibilities:
" You will be responsible for managing the day to day financial and accounting operations including financial month end scheduling
" You will manage cash flow preparation and deal with the planning and coordination of the financial budgets
" You take responsibility for all aspects of treasury, oversee the audits and direct Tax computation and validation
" You will control the operational financial compliance, cost control, travel and expenses and be confident reporting to the senior board
Financial Controller desired Skills and Experience:
" Successful candidates must be a fully qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant
" You must demonstrate a strong financial or management accounting background
" You will have proven ability to deliver results and meet deadlines in a professional, organised and analytical matter
" It is preferred you possess working knowledge of SAP and Cognos and you must be proficient in all Microsoft packages
