My Fleet based client is seeking a financial planning administration to join there fast paced team of 6, this role will involve working alongside one or two Financial Planning Advisor, processing pension and investment applications, trading funds on platforms, liaising with providers, life offices, clients and colleagues.
The ideal candidate should have a good level of sales support administration experience and have self-managed their own workloads or pipeline within a busy office environment. Previous experience gained within an IFA/Financial Planning environment or investment/pension office would be extremely advantageous.
This role will require the ability to self-manage workloads, set daily priorities and have the ability to balance varying tasks throughout the day including new business, pipeline case progression, general post, diary activities, incoming emails and telephone calls. The role can be challenging at times, the need to use own initiative to logically resolve problems and progress cases is a necessity. You will be required to communicate in a professional and knowledgeable manner both written and oral and work under pressure towards deadlines at times. A team player with good sense of humour is vital for this role.
There is no requirement within this role to have taken or passed any financial planning industry examinations, however the successful candidate will find it advantageous to have either some existing qualifications or have interest in learning the ins and outs of the financial planning industry.
