Job Description

Our public sector client is seeking an admin officer to provide support to the busy team on a temporary basis

Our client is part of the Ministry of Justice and are based in the city centre. They offer a great working environment.

This is a temporary position. The role is full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. The assignment is expected to run until the end of October 2019.

As an administrator you will be responsible supporting the team with providing administration support.

Duties may include but not be limited to

Answering of telephone calls
Arranging payment plans
Dealing with queries
Relaying messages
Data Entry
Preparing/typing of routine correspondence
Dealing with emails
Filing
Scanning
Photocopying
Dealing with upset users via telephone

This role is subject to a criminal records check and employment referencing


Ideal candidates will have previous administration experience and good working IT skills along with excellent communication skills

Our client requires

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Good fast and accurate keyboard/data entry skills


The pay rate is £9.45 per hour. Benefits include holiday pay, pension scheme and city centre location on good public transport links
