Job Description
The Ministry of Justice - Fines Officer - Fixed Penalty Department
Location: Gildersome, Morley
Salary: £9.78
Hours: Monday - Friday (37 hours)
This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.
Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a full time Administration Officer to join the Team at the Collection and Enforcement Centre in Gildersome, Morley with our client, The Ministry of Justice. The role will include working as part of a flexible team. This is a very interesting role, carrying out effective and efficient administration duties within the Enforcement Department.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing driving licences
- Dealing with fixed penalty reports
- Checking camera detection reports and similar offences inclusive of the Penalty Notices for Disorder
- Monitor and update suspended cases from computer reports
- Deal effectively with all public enquiries
- Liaise with the DVLA and Police Forces
- Transferring documents to other courts and liaising with professional and non-professional court users
- Data entry
- To participate in post opening procedures
