FIRST LINE SUPPORT ANALYST - GLASGOW
Are you looking for an exciting job in IT. I`m working with a National organisation seeking to find a highly motivated First Line Support Analyst to join the team in Glasgow. Your role will support the IT and Directors in delivering a seamless service to all employees.
Log and prioritise calls in the helpdesk software, escalate where necessary to IT Director
Daily checks performed to provide proactive information on IT systems
" Regularly contributing to the intranet by adding or updating resources and tech tips
Covering Service Desk - How To escalated incidents and respond to requests
Create new users on system
Create profiles on PC for new users
PC moves (mostly for Trainee moves)
Remove leavers from the system
" Setting up of presentation and VC`s
Provide support on IT projects when requested by IT Director
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
OFFICE BASED EXPERIENCE / We would like you to have previous knowledge of working in an office environment/similar role. Technically competent with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
EXPERIENCE WITH SYSTEMS / Additional knowledge and experience of Document Management systems (eg. Lawsoft) Experience with legal applications, Customer Relationship Management systems, timekeeping software, records management systems, document comparison tools or Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
GREAT COMMUNICATOR / Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on motivational skills and positive attitude
CUSTOMER SERVICE / Strong customer service skills
TEAM PLAYER / A team player willing to assist in other areas of the business IT, eg: user support
