Job Description

We are looking for a full time long term temporary Fitness Instructor to work on a 2 week rota basis which will include some weekends and evenings.


This role is for one of our large clients within the education sector.

As part of the sports centre team while on duty you will work independently to provide a clean, safe and motivational setting within which the customers sports and fitness goals can be achieved.

You are expected to use your skills and experience to provide professional gym inductions for all new members, along with delivering a full range of exercise classes each week. You will be required to create your sessions around the facilities and equipment available to you.

You will coordinate sports sessions and ensure all sports & fitness areas and equipment are cleaned and maintained to the high standard.


We need someone who has the ability to deliver fun, varied, safe and beneficial sessions
Previous experience working as a gym instructor
Established track record of leading exercise classes & retaining customers
Sport competition supervision.
Previous experience of working in a customer focused environment.
Experience in writing Sports Specific training programmes


The ideal candidates must have a recognised Level 2 Gym, Health & Fitness Qualification.

Pay rate will be £7.83 for the first 12 weeks and will then rise to £8.75
