Job Description

Our client, based 30 minutes from York, is looking for a Fitter/Assembly Technician to join their very busy production area.

As a member of the production department the successful candidate will work as part of a team assembling touchscreen and digital solutions for a variety of high level clients. You will be assembling a range of products for some major UK companies and must be able to work to tight deadlines and complete work of a really high quality.

The individual must have a keen interest of Engineering and have preferably gained suitable qualifications in this area as well as having a good standard of education. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and who enjoys working within a team but will also be able to work using their own initiative in order to a achieve a high standard of finish.

Please note that this role does require the candidate to be able to lift heavy items from time to time.
40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 2 x 15 minute breaks and 30 minutes for lunch.
