Job Description

I am working in partnership with a national charitable provider who specialises in person centred support for adults with mental health diagnoses and substance misuse needs.

Employed initially on a fixed term basis for 12 months, with the opportunity for your contract to be extended, you will join an established provider at one of their services on the Solihull/Birmingham borders and play a key role in evidence based recovery.

You will have flexibility to work from home, and will also spend time in the office and community. You will manage your own caseload of clients and be responsible for 1:1 interventions, telephone interventions, care planning and coordination and will take a proactive approach to substance misuse recovery.

Other responsibilities will include:

* Supporting with housing benefits, budgeting and grants

* Signposting to external agencies and promoting independence

* Acting as an advocate and providing mediation

* Motivational work to encourage treatment

This is the ideal opportunity for a skilled practitioner who has extensive experience in the HOUSING sector and is also skilled managing their own caseloads. Experience of working with adults who are misusing substances and a proactive, recovery focused approach are also essential for this role.

Due to the nature of the floating support practitioner role, there is a requirement to work the occasional Saturday morning.

You extensive skills, knowledge and experience will be rewarded with a competitive salary up to £23420, per annum as well as excellent benefits including 32 days annual leave, on going training and development and internal progression opportunities.

For immediate consideration, please apply online today or forward your CV via email.
