Job Description

Based in Cheshire, this expanding and well established organisation is now looking for an Account Manager with good working knowledge of import freight procedures


The role will involve:
Liaising with customers, clients and internal departments
Account Management
Dealing with freight rate, Service Contract, Special Quotation enquiries
Researching and contacting potential new customers.
Report weekly on market conditions and new opportunities.
Regular contact with customer base
Provide quotations to customers.
Follow up on previous quotations to obtain business.
Close liaison with customer service teams.
Liaise with other offices when necessary.


Skills Required;
Strong shipping, freight forwarding and logistics experience
The ability to build effective and profitable relationships.
Experience liaising with customers and potential clients
Ability to work as part of a strong team
Confident providing quotations to customers
Strong customer service experience
Knowledge of Cargowise software would be a distinct advantage
