Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Freight Account Manager to join their team based in Sheffield.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the freight / logistics industry - ideally at least 2 years experience in a sales focused role so you can hit the ground running. Your role will involve costing and quoting for all modes of freight, air, sea, road, courier, import and export. Handling documentation and operating cargo with whichever suppliers you source.

Using your own entrepreneurial skills to develop and maximise business they offer a completely free reign to manage your day entirely as you choose without anyone looking over their shoulder or expecting ongoing reports.

Salary will be discussed at interview stage although a reasonably successful person would generate a salary in excess of £40k without too much difficulty.

If you have a successful proven track record in freight forwarding and feel that your career may have stagnated or maybe you are fed up of corporate `red tape` in your current job, the role we offer gives you the chance to re-ignite your career and at the same time increase your salary + commission (which is uncapped by the way)
