Job Description


Brook Street are delighted to offer the right candidate the position of a Brokerage Clerk based in Coventry on a temp to perm basis.

Job Role- Full time Brokerage Clerk
Salary- £17k depending on experience
Hours- 9.00-5.30pm, 1-hour lunch, Monday to Friday

In this role you will provide support to the brokerage Department, by processing daily shipments and ensuring customs compliance in a timely and accurate manner.

Duties of the role :

- Customs brokerage
-Identify correct CPC code to use on customs entry from customers paperwork and make formal entry onto a customs system
-Manage group email inbox, liaising with customers directly via email and telephone
-Admin duties, including opening posting and filing

Candidates would need:
-Good qualifications in GCSE`S
-Experience in working in freight forwarding
-Great knowledge in Microsoft packages - excel, word, PowerPoint
-Very confident and good work ethic
-Customer service and admin experience
-Be able to work well in a team
