Job Description

Based in Wythenshawe, this Logistics company is looking for someone who has an understanding of all modes of Air, Road and Courier.

You will be dealing with out of Gauge (OOG) loads, Charter, DG, express and general freight enquiries


Responsibilities will include:
Taking bookings from customers by telephone and email
Communication with uk offices / agents, suppliers and airlines
Arranging collection and deliveries of goods
Establish routing -Ensure customer SOP's are followed and deadlines met
Updating customers with the status of shipments -
Entering Shipment data
Entering shipment data in to the courier system, producing labels and arranging collection
Confirming rates with suppliers and job costing

Previous Freight experience is essential along with good IT Skills and the ability to work as part of a team
