Job Description

This company based close to Manchester Airport is looking for a good all rounder who has working knowledge of both Ocean Import and Air Export procedures.

You will be expected to have a full understanding of the documentation processes required to successfully receive goods into the country of destination and be especially familiar with the role of Customs and the preparation of Bills of Lading.

You will be directly involved with all imported goods received into the country of destination and ensure all necessary paperwork is complete and legally acceptable to Customs to allow clearance and entry into the country.
You will be required to obtain charges and cargo release details from freight forwarding agents and shipping lines.

The ideal candidate should have previous freight forwarding experience, great customer service experience and have good working knowledge of the industry. It`s a small office environment so you should be a good team player.
