Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our Belfast client who provide Air and Sea Freight Solutions - they are looking to add a number of Trainee Freight Forwarders to support their busy team.


The candidates hired for this job will get full training to become a fully-fledged Freight Forwarder

Duties will involve

* Providing excellent customer service
* Creating shipment files for import consignments
* Liaising with overseas agents
* Inbound customs clearance
* Invoicing and administration relating to the above

Criteria

* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Passionate about customer service
* PC Literate and able to use Microsoft
* Enthusiastic and good common sense
* Detail orientated
* Ideally educated to A level standard

Applicants must be keen to train in air or sea freight forwarding. Ongoing practical, on the job and theoretical training in all aspects of freight forwarding.

* General Freight / Logistics experience would be beneficial but not essential

Salary will depend on the candidate - £18-19k per annum

Office Hours - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with one hour for lunch
