Brook Street is currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is based in Newport City Centre.
We have several positions available for Front Desk Counter admin officers.
Contract: Temporary to 1 year Fixed Term, after 6 weeks training has been completed and passed
Start date: April 2022 (once CTC cleared)
Salary: £11.23 per hour
Hours: The administration officer role working pattern will be between Monday and Saturday 8am to 6pm on a rota basis, therefore candidates must be flexible between these times.
Counter Service Officers within Customer Service Offices and Centres will contribute to safeguarding identity through managing customers arriving to counter services and carrying out related activities to deliver a world class customer service within the Customer Service Network.
- Greet all customers and visitors at reception and provide appropriate assistance.
- Effectively organize the daily appointments, welcoming customers, setting expectations, explaining the process, putting customers at ease and handling queries including complaints.
- Check customers in for appointment at the appropriate time, complete required checks and establish if applicant is fit for interview.
- Plan and prepare for all allotted interviews, ensuring that any required special arrangements are facilitated.
Note: An employee may be required to carry out other duties within the scope of the grade and within the limits of their skill, competence and training.
These Roles are primarily Office Based.
