Front-end Designer/Developer

£24,000 - £26,000


Due to expansion our client in Telford is looking for a passionate Front-end Designer/Developer to join their friendly, successful and expanding digital team. The primary focus will be on development of new and existing websites as well as the ability to create responsive emails.

You will be working and reporting in to your line manager and will be able to work within a fast-paced environment where you will be working to tight deadlines. You will need to be adaptable and be able to learn new skills whilst working both on your own and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
" Creation of bespoke WordPress websites
" Management of existing websites
" Responsive Email Development
" Work with WordPress to build attractive, engaging and user-friendly websites from scratch
" Using PHP to edit advanced templates
" Working closely with designers and the digital team to ensure that the websites are delivering a positive ROI for our clients

Essential Skills
" Strong HTML, CSS & JavaScript Skills
" Ability to build, edit and maintain WordPress websites
" Solid understanding of responsive media queries
" Ability to pick up new systems and software packages quickly
" Able to integrate plugins to deliver required client functionality
" Confident using Photoshop, Illustrator or Sketch
" A basic understanding of website hosting.
" A basic understanding of PHP
" Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of tasks.

Desirable Skills
" DNS Management
" Ability to setup version control systems
" Basic understanding of Hosting and Management.
" SASS
