Job Description

Front End Web Developer

We are currently hiring for a well-known not for profit organisation in Central London, looking for a Front-End Web Developer to join their team on a permanent basis starting ASAP. The purpose of this role is to develop, maintain and support eh companies websites by providing innovative solutions to complex problems

Salary: £44,000 - 48,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with various team members to build new web application
- Ensure that applications are coded securely, documented, tested and deployed in line with accepted standards
- Work with stakeholders to develop new features based on specifications which may range from a detailed technical document to an outline concept
- Support websites by implementing change and support requests efficiently
- Work with the other members of an Agile team to identify how the company can make use of new technology and techniques
- Improve the performance and operation of the website
- Support infrastructure and development environment
- Ensure the sites meet agreed SLA's for performance and availability

Key Requirements:
- Demonstrate track record of successfully developing web applications using best practices
- Demonstrable track record of supporting and troubleshooting applications (CMS, Shopping carts)
- Ability to work in an Agile technical project team; working under pressure and delivering to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a collaborative development environment contributing to the team in a positive manner to reach the best solution
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex problems to non-technical team members
