Job Description

My client is looking for a planner.

You will be working for one of the largest independent organisations within their field based in the UK.They work with premium brands within the business and are firmly established within the sector.

Working in the Fuels team, should have good excel skills, and ideally from the industry to understand fuels. They would have close relationships with fuel suppliers - this team arranges the fuel delivery to all our sites. The Fuels Planner is responsible for organising and coordinating such daily administrative tasks in support of the fuels operation as may be required from time to time. In particular, each day, the Fuels Planner shall be responsible for:
The taking of orders of motor fuels from the Company`s Dealer Owned sites by both telephone and email, taking into account the minimum notice, quantities and credit status required for deliveries Liaising with the Company`s haulier in the receipt and delivery of the Dealer Owned orders, including queries from the customers in respect of ETAs, PODs or other information that the Company`s Dealers might require.
The ongoing management of the wet stock of the Company`s Company Owned sites and the placing of orders with the appropriate supplier to ensure adequate stocks at all times taking into account the following: The Company`s cash flow
Zero stock outs, Zero returned product charges.
The lead times and load sizes required by the Supplier under their contract with the Company.

Ideally you will have an admin background strong excel skills and have a background in working closely with suppliers.

The salary is £30K and Other benefits include free on site car parking , 22 days plus bank holidays (increasing to 24 after 3 years` service, and 25 after 5 years` service) ,Private health care on completion of probation period,Salary exchange pension
