Job Description

A well-established large organization is recruiting for full or part time support workers for their supportive living service in Filton, Bristol. You will mainly be supporting 4 male clients who have Autism, learning disabilities, limited mobility and challenging behaviour (both).

Main Job Role:
- Support clients with everyday duties i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Manage them through their Support Plans (maintain good health and diet)
- Assist them with any activities or day centres they attend to
- Accompany them out & about in the community i.e bank appointments, health visits etc
- Encourage them with future goals they would like to achieve
- 1 client has a cleaning job so needs support at work
- You will need to prompt clients with personal care

Contract / Terms:
- Salary is £7,346 - £17,218.50 per annum = £8.83 an hour
- Sleeps available if you want them which are paid at £29.95 + top-up = roughly £59 per sleep
- Mondays to Fridays + alternative weekends
- 15 hours shifts are 8am - 10pm. Shorter shifts are only available on Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays from 10am - 4pm and on Wednesdays & Thursdays are 7am - 3:45pm
- 2 week rolling rota, week 1 you will work 3 shifts, week 2 you will work 2 shifts
- Full or part time contract available 16 - 37.5 hours a week

Qualifying candidates:
- Have life, paid, personal or voluntary experience in care (any setting / sector)
- Must be male candidates only due to the service user needs
- Must be a driver

Benefits (pro rota):
- Full training and will also get put through the NVQ qualification
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holiday = 32 in total
- 6 months sick pay (3 months full pay and 3 months half pay)
