Full Or Part Time Waking Night Care Support Worker

Job Description

A well established expanding organization is recruiting for Waking Night Support Worker for their 31 bed residential care home in Taunton, Somerset. You will be supporting Adults who have complex needs, learning disabilities, Mental Health, physical disabilities, personality disorder, forensic, ex/offenders and some will display challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- Working together in a team
- Help assist the clients to bed
- Do regular checks on clients and record this in their care plans
- If they wake up during the night, offer them food, drink, spend time with them and assist them with anything else (try get them back to sleep)
- Some intimate personal care (help with bathing, dressing and grooming & toileting)
- General house hold duties (domestic / cleaning)

Qualifying candidates:
- Have life, paid, personal or voluntary experience in care (any setting / sector)
- Candidates who are Medication trained will be desirable but not essential

Contract / Terms:
- Salary is £13,286 - £21,264 per annum = £10.22 an hour
- Full or part time (25, 37.5 or 40 hours) a week
- Mondays to Friday plus alternative weekends
- Shifts are 7pm - 7:30am (12.5 hour shifts)
