Job Description

A well-established large national organization are recruiting for Part Time Senior / Care Assistant for their extra care service (working in the client's home) in Lawrence Hill, Bristol. You will be supporting Elderly clients who have who have dementia, frail, enabling and general nursing needs with no challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- Support clients with everyday duties i.e. cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Manage them through their Care Plans (maintain good health and diet)
- Assist them with any activities or day centres they attend to
- Accompany them out & about in the community i.e bank appointments, health visits etc
- Administrate and collect medications & prescriptions
- Full personal care will be required

Contract / Terms:
- Salary is £9,672 - £18,824 per annum = £8.80 - £9.30 an hour
- Pay raise to £9.30 - £9.80 an hour + £100 welcome bonus after 6 month's probation
- Full or part time contract available 20 or 40 hours a week
- Monday to Fridays with alternative weekends
- Shifts patterns are: 7am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 4pm- 10pm, 6pm - 10pm (mainly evenings)
- On call duties paid at £10 per day Monday - Friday and £50 on Saturdays & Sundays

Qualifying candidates:
- Must have senior experience (will consider care assistants who have stepped into senior role)
- Have a Diploma / NVQ / QCF level 2 or above or be working towards one
