Job Description

I am recruiting for a Funeral Director's Support Coordinator for a prestigious client who is one of the leading companies in the UK based in Sutton Coldfield and they are offering a salary of £20094.

THE ROLE
As a Support Coordinator you will be the point of contact for the many Funeral Director's (FD) my client works with, offering the specialist support, help and guidance that is required to both the Funeral Directors and also the Customer Service Advisors. You will be making a large volume of outbound calls, liaising with the funeral directors, answering questions and ensuring the smooth running of the partnerships, you will be responsible for due diligence checks making sure that the partnerships are working as they should be and also checking there is sufficient coverage to support the number of customers requiring funerals. There will also be a number of administration tasks including report writing, database management, maintaining records, mail merges, banking of cheques and general adhoc tasks.

TYPICAL DAILY JOB DUTIES - WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Maintaining good working relationships with our network of contracted Independent FDs
- Supporting the Corporate Partnerships department assessing FD coverage and secure contracted FDs for arears where the client has a lack of coverage
- Supporting the company's Branch Network and Branch Development Team in effectively servicing pre-paid funeral plans
- Supporting the Client Service Advisors with complicated queries
- Supporting Client Relations in regards to complaints involving Independent FDs
- Liaising with external plan providers to accept, record and authorise acquired plans.
- Maintaining an accurate Funeral Director database
- Setting up the new FDs when they are contracted
- Maintaining the on system map, ensuring the FD's are recorded accurately so the Customer Service Advisors can always give up to date distance and recommendations to customers on who is their local FD
- Implementing price rise on Age Co and Dignity plans
- Maintaining records of all current crematoria fees and implementing increases
- Re-allocating members when FD branches close
- Mailing members to advise of branch changes (address, name etc.)

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Strong administration and customer support skills and experience
- Knowledge of the funeral industry would be beneficial but not essential
- Clear, confident and concise verbal communication techniques
- A customer focussed individual with the ability to build quick rapport/relationship over the phone with customers, Funeral Director's and internal departments
- Attention to detail and strong data inputting skills
- Exceptional listening skills & telephone communication skills
- Organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and multi task
- Ability to work under pressure and to KPI's
- Excellent computer skills (confident on MS packages including outlook and excel)
