Job Description
Position: Gadget Claims Handler
Location: Fulwood, Preston
Salary: 15,600 - 17,000
Working hours: 8:30-6:30 Monday to Friday (shift patterns, 37.5 hours per week), 1 in 6 Saturday
My client was established in 1990 and has grown to be one of the UK`s leading insurance services provider, predominantly offering products and services to brokers, intermediaries, corporate and affinities. Now is looking for two fantastic Gadget Claims handler in a super team. You will be working in a big open office, casual dress code with a potential to progress inside the company.
Key Responsibilities:
-Processing new insurance claims notifications;
-To provide accurate advice to customers on making a claim and the processes involved;
-Collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim; ensuring recorded onto the system in a concise manner.
-Analysing a claim made by a policyholder and making claims decisions in line with policy terms and conditions.
-Guiding policyholders on how to proceed with the claim;
-Ensuring fair settlement of a valid claim;
-Adhering to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company.
-Effectively monitor the progress of a claim;
-Investigating potentially fraudulent claims;
-Ensuring the customer is treated fairly and that the customer receives excellent service in accordance with industry and company guidelines;
-To liaise with third party companies and clients and converse with them both verbally and written in a professional manner.
-Demonstrate exceptional claims ownership skills in order to manage customer expectations fully and reduce claims lifecycle.

Qualification Requirements: -
-4 GCSEs Grade C or above (including Maths and English); or
-Claims experience desirable
