Job Description

We are delighted to be looking for a General Ledger Analyst to join our team in Coventry for a long-term temporary position.

Duration- 4 Months
Pay Rate - £12.00 per hour

Your new role will consist of numerous duties including the following:
" Accurate, timely and consistent financial accounting for bonuses, commissions, payroll, and fixed assets, within the month they relate to, and within group reporting deadlines for the financial results and financial forecasting. Complete monthly account reconciliations relating to bonuses, payroll, fixed asset and commissions highlighting any errors before any financial impact on the business
" Be responsible for the maintenance of the finance team procedures,
" To be able to prepare and have a sound understanding of the quarterly VAT returns so that they are forwarded to the VAT team in a timely and accurate manner.
" Collect information and submit Central National statistics reports to the ONS (office of national Statistics) when required.
" Participate in reviewing internal audits that have taken place and responding to questions asked by relevant personnel.

Qualifications:
" Ideally educated to degree level, as a minimum possessing a good spread of A-level and GCSE qualifications appropriate to a position in finance, and with experience in an accounting function posting financial transactions at double entry level, not just purchase or sales ledger experience.
" Experience of dealership operations and working knowledge of the Kerridge Dealership Management system (DMS) is an advantage. This position will liaise with all levels of the DFNE PCR Central Finance team, and a broad range of positions within the PCR dealer group from Director Level down to staff level in both the dealerships and Head Office. Hence experience of both working with and influencing at all these levels is essential.
