Job Description

A new position has arisen within one of my well known manufacturing clients for a General Machinist. The successful candidate will have experience in operating manual machines such as Pillar Drills, Lathes and Bevelling Machines, good turning skills and using a manual lathe is essential.

On a day to day basis the chosen candidate will be operating machines which will involve the selection and setting of tools, reading engineering drawings and have a sound general engineering knowledge.

There is also a great opportunity to train further and become a CNC Machinist.

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday.

Salary: £20,000 to £21,000

Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays
