Job Description
My client an international legal firm and is seeking a Global Communications Legal Directory Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading law firm, the role involves you providing day to day support to the global communications team as part of the communications shared services function. The successful candidate will largely be involved in full legal directory support, reporting, maintenance of materials and service delivery. Experience in this area is desired.
Responsibilities
Support the senior manager with the best practice management including performance analysis, annual process support and submission review, delivery and storage
Conduct market research and support regular editor and consultancy discussions with key directory experts
Support partner research interview coaching calls globally, responding to partner concerns and queries professionally
Follow up on communications enquiries from all regional internal customers in our content and directory communities following a clear and consistent directory strategy
Support occasional writing tasks representing our leadership communications and populating our directory community
Help to write, design, prepare and execute our annual directory service survey
Work to clear directory KPI`s annually, proving progress on a written strategic plan tailored to all regions
Own and populate the directory global tracker, analysing our performance management for quarterly reporting
Research and create regular summary reports, detailing our annual regional directory performance at practice ranking and people recognition levels, justifying changes
Support the data value drive of our directory data in future projects supporting cross teams
Competencies
High level of computer literacy and multi-tasking ability
Skilled in using Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Word, e-communication software and
Outlook
Complete tasks to a high standard within defined timescales
Strong communicator and digitally confident. Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure.
An advanced level of English spelling, grammar and proof-reading ability
Creative thinker who shows initiative and willingness to learn and draw measurable conclusions from data
Works well in a busy team on a local and remote basis
Ability to analyse results, recognise trends and report findings with intelligent observation
Candidate Specification
Previous experience working within legal environment
Confident communicator with previous legal directory experience and confident in presenting to and communicating with senior and regional audiences
A good multi tasker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse and drive a central process in multiple regions simultaneously
Demonstrable interest in business operations, traditional and digital media management and data analysis
Proficiency in MS office, including PowerPoint and Excel, E-communication software
A curiosity to develop professional relationships and analyse data to realise the best value across our communication channels in a large organisation
Ability to communicate with partner, editor, senior manager level, consult and influence positively at various stakeholder levels including business development as key people in this process
