Job Description

A fabulous opportunity for a professional EA to join our UK-based Christian not for profit organisation to provide maternity cover. The role is to provide a pivotal executive support service to the Global Media Director of a charity with a friendly, welcoming culture and a warm working atmosphere.

Providing administrative support, high level of competency and professionalism, diary management, communication and other support. You will also have the opportunity to become a member of a Christian community. Your key responsibilities would include:

Day-to-day diary planning and management including co-ordination and logistics of travel for the Global Media Director. Acting as the first point of contact via email, telephone and in person. Attending meeting and building/maintaining relationships with external organizations and individuals. Work closely with global team to help deliver the organizations media strategy. Gathering updates from global team about upcoming events and media opportunities along with research and awareness of relevant media addressed issues.

To be successful you really need to enjoy administrative work, use your well-developed organisational skills and experience of dealing with conflicting and rapidly changing priorities and you must have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

You will also have proven experience working as a personal assistant (or similar role) preferably for someone at senior management level. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, be proficient in managing significant levels of written and verbal communication at a range of organisational levels and have excellent interpersonal skills including awareness of confidentiality and discretion. Experience of diary management, coordinating meetings and organizing logistics is highly desirable. A great team player but also able to work on their own. Experience of carrying out research and social media within a work context would be beneficial
