Head of HR
Watford - 9:00am- 5:30pm
65K-70k - Depending on background
A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company as HR lead
As a key member of the Management Team, you will help drive the success of the organisation, through the effective development and delivery of the people strategy.
You will be responsible for establishing a Human Resources framework to provide professional human resources service to Operational management and their teams. Through the provision of high-quality guidance and support in developing and progressing people management solutions to achieve our business objectives.
Leading the People and Development plan for Designer Parfums and alignment to KPIs.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Recruitment and Selection
" Maintain effective recruitment and selection strategy ensuring that high quality candidates are attracted to and recruited by the company. Responsible for all external recruitment campaigns, through agency, LinkedIn and Designer parfums own website.
Compensation and Benefits
" Work with all Heads of Department to business partner and support all salary and compensation discussions, conducting market surveys on salary and benefits to ensure we maintain our competitive position in the marketplace. Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend appropriate pay packages for recruitment and retention purposes.
Policies and Procedures
" Ensure all policies and procedures and the Employee onboarding documents and Handbook reflects current legislation, good practice and organisational culture.
What we need from you:
" Degree + CIPD qualification level 5 or above
" Must have background in the Retail Sector, preferably within the beauty industry
" Developing HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
" Experience of developing training programmes or working with external providers to do so.
" Sound understanding of current employment legislation and equality issues.
" Excellent written and oral communications, excellent presentation skills, as well as an ability to communicate with multiple cultures and interpersonal skills
" Enthusiasm and curiosity. Collaborative and positive, approachable
