HD PLASMA OPERATOR/SETTER

In order to meet increasing demand, PRF Engineering Ltd requires an experienced HD Plasma Operator to work day shift.
Primary responsibility is to operate machine to manufacture required components in line with production schedule.

40 hours per week plus overtime.
£9.00 ph

Key Skills & Competencies:
o To correctly operate machine to manufacture component parts for production, to required quality standard in accordance with work instruction provided.
o To read, understand and correctly complete programme sheets.
o To handle, transport and store component parts as per training and instruction.
o To maintain work equipment and a safe and well organised workstation.
o To complete daily safety checks to ensure machine and work equipment is in good working order.
o To follow instructions provided by supervisor.
o To comply with company policies and procedures.
o Any other duties, within reason and capability, as agreed with the Operations Manager / Supervisor.

Essential Criteria:
o Good standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent o A strong work ethic with good time keeping.
o Ability to work alone and as part of a team o Ability to read and use measuring tools

Desirable Criteria:
o Valid Forklift Truck licence
o Previous experience of operating Esprit HD plasma and true-hole machinery o Operational Hand Tools and magnetic drills.
