HEAD BARMAN/MIXOLOGIST
INVERNESS - CIRCA £25-30K

5 simple questions
1. Do you have an Encyclopedic knowledge of Whisky?
2. Do you know the latest and most exciting Gin to hit the market?
3. Do you have an in-depth knowledge of the Scottish Highlands?
4. Are you a great conversationalist and reel a good yarn?
5. Are you a skilled Mixologist? (It`s an art form)

A very exciting new venture twenty miles outside Inverness is seeking to find a New Barman/Mixologist for their sumptuous new residents only bar. You will be hosting some very exciting VIP guests, advising customers on whisky tasting, really emersing yourself in the world drink and getting known for your knowledge and skill as an outstanding mixologist.

Here is a little bit more info about the role: -
" Experienced Head Bartender to build a new drinks service for an exciting new whisky bar
" Overall management of the bar, working with the management team to build an exciting offering
" With a nod to Ginza-style bars of Japan, the focus is to deliver refined classics, whilst incorporating some of the finest ingredients the Highlands has to offer
" The bar holds an extensive and ever-expanding whisky collection which is representative of our proximity to many of the country`s finest distilleries. You will need to be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge and passion for local spirits and crucially, have a desire to learn more


The Ideal Candidate:
" A solid skillset including a firm understanding of classic cocktails
" A passion and knowledge of both Scottish & Japanese whiskies
" An appreciation for International drink culture, including world liquors
" A self-starter who is comfortable working independently and happy to hit the ground running
" Experience of working in a luxury hotel, restaurant or private member`s club advantageous
" Own transport essential as venue situated in a rural destination
