Enthusiastic and customer focused Head Chef required to join a kitchen in Guildford serving a busy office on a full-time permanent basis working Mon-Fri (day shifts only!).
Working alongside the catering assistants you will be responsible for maintaining an excellent level of customer service for staff and visitors through the creation, presentation and delivery of meals.
Adhering to the food safety guidelines you will be involved in developing menus, preparation and cooking of food, ordering of stock and efficiently resolving customer queries. You will be maintaining kitchen equipment, reporting any defects and overseeing the management of cash, items and stock.
You will have working knowledge of the catering industry, including Food Safety (Level 3 CIEH) and hold a level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery or equivalent. You must have sound, up-to-date knowledge of food hygiene best practices and experience of working to budgets and stock control systems.
