Brook Street are looking for an Experienced Head Chef/Cook to join a busy Kitchen in a Care Home in Bath.

You will be confident and adaptable, have the ability to plan ahead.
Our client is looking for someone to bring a fresh approach with new ideas to the kitchen.
You will have free run of the kitchen and will be responsible for all menu planning and rotas.
You will need to be confident and adaptable, able to adjust and be flexible when different situations arise.
You will have an understanding of different and challenging dietary requirements and able to adapt all dishes according to C&D diets.

Typical duties will include cooking and preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner for around 30 people, with occasional snacks.
You will be responsible for checking and maintaining kitchen equipment.
Maintain a clean hazard-free kitchen.
Promote high standards of catering by ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and the kitchen operates in a smooth efficient manner.

An excellent knowledge of food hygiene and food preparation, along with a positive attitude and a desire to deliver the best possible service to the residents.

This position is full time 5 days - 37.5 hours and will require you to work alternate weekends.
