HEAD HOUSEKEEPER (Not Live-In)
Applicants must be based in Scotland. (Overseas applicants will not be considered).

A family run business is seeking to find a Head Housekeeper for a stylish self-catering, wedding and corporate venue 20 miles outside Inverness.

The accommodation runs with a five star approach and can accommodate up to twenty eight people. The venue is designed to meet the needs of the modern traveller with elegant interiors, modern conveniences and private surroundings, just some of the details that make this a truly memorable destination.

The Housekeeping team will take pride in creating a first class guest experience and as the Housekeeping Manager, your role will oversee the team and ensure the upkeep
of the property to a very high standard.

Who are you?

A candidate with experience in 4/5 star hospitality
An exceptional eye for detail
Experience of running a small team
Physically fit
Full and clean driving license
Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written

The role
To organise and manage staff rotas
To assign housekeeping duties to staff and prepare daily work sheets
To assist in the selection process for new team members, when necessary
To supervise daily housekeeping shifts, operations and ensure compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures
To be `hands on` and service rooms or public areas and cover the evening housekeeper shift, if required
To regularly inspect all fixtures, fittings and appliances ensuring they are of the required standard and recommend any actions to be taken
To oversee all ordering connected to the Housekeeping hygiene and look of the property with General Manager
Lead with a consistently positive attitude, self-motivated and enthusiastic demeanour

The salary for this role is £21-24k (based on experience)

Please note: You will be expected to have your own transport to travel to the property daily - if you don`t drive, you won`t be considered for this role
