Job Description

Working for a leading provider of work based pensions in Canary Wharf, this role reports to the Director of Compliance.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering formal control assurance reporting against applicable governance frameworks (including the ISO27001 certification for Information Security Management Systems); and for the planning, development, and delivery of a holistic compliance monitoring programme covering pensions and pensions tax law; information security and financial crime prevention.

You will head up the Compliance Assurance team (consisting of a number of Compliance Managers) and will be tasked to deliver Operational Compliance activity; so proven experience of line management in a similar role is an essential requirement.

The holder of this role will lead the second line assurance function of the organisation and will enjoy considerable autonomy in how to deliver output to meet the assurance needs of multiple internal customers.
