Brook Street (UK) Limited is delighted to be recruiting a Head of Operations person on behalf of our Belfast client

The role is for a fixed term contract for 10 months to cover maternity

The job holder will be responsible for leading the regional operations team and will be expected to work collaboratively with other Heads of Departments, EMG and SMT. The job holder will be expected to implement efficient policies and procedures that reflect the current needs of the business and overall business strategy

Key responsibilities for this role:

* Responsibility for overseeing the daily activities across the Regional Operations Team
* Lead and coordinate Regional Operations Team with the purpose of ongoing monitoring project performance across the offices and divisions
* Implement processes and procedures that drive efficiency in company divisions and reflects overall business need
* Manage Central Resourcing and ensure target utilisation rate across Lines of Businesses and Offices
* Provide regular reports on the divisions operational performance to include; utilisation rate across the division, budget spend on all current projects within the division, key client events and project milestones
* Responsible for managing employee performance providing direction and guidance to employees to meet the project goals and quality assurance
* Lead, coach, and develop employee`s, including overseeing new employee onboarding in conjunction with HR, and providing career development planning and opportunities by effectively using the performance management process
* Regular travel will be required


Essential Criteria:

* Third level degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Economics, Geography (other disciplines will be considered where candidates can demonstrate core skills required).
* Demonstrable experience in business operations or project management
* Previous staff management, leadership and mentoring experience
* Demonstrable experience of monitoring staff utilization and capacity planning
* Demonstrate strong analytical skills and exemplary time management/organisational skills
* Demonstrate ability to work independently, flexibly and responsively
* Experience of building and growing relationships across multiple departments/geographies and networks

Salary for the role will depend on background and will be between £35,000 to £40.000
