The Royal Automobile Club is an exclusive private members Club offering a wide variety of world class services, including fine dining, accommodation, meeting facilities, activities and events.

The Pall Mall Club is now seeking an experienced Head Waiter to join their team, working across two of their fine dining restaurants.

As part of the food & beverage team you will be working in the elegant and luxurious clubhouse in Pall Mall which has been serving members of the Club since 1911.

Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests, with the key aim of retaining our members and attracting new ones
Keep up to date with all food and beverage menus, current promotions and new products to enable you to serve and recommend to our members and guests
Monitor the cleanliness of the department and implement cleaning procedures to ensure that a high standard of presentation is maintained

The ideal candidate would have at least a year`s experience within a similar role, as well as having extensive knowledge of waiter etiquette. Basic food hygiene level 1.

Must have and awareness in Licencing laws.

Candidates must show a passion for hospitality and be able to offer our members a special service that is expected of us. Candidates must have a flexible attitude in line with the working hours of the establishment.

Candidates must have impeccable customer service, exceptional punctuality and be well-presented.

Your main duties will include;

* Preparing your section to a high standard, ensuring al mise en place is correct, carrying out daily schedules and collecting required items from stores
* Engage in polite conversation with members, anticipating their needs and make informed recommendations
* Receiving and taking suitable action on all comments, compliments and complaints
* Ensure that all orders are accurately recorded through the EPOS system
* Present itemised bills and make sure payments are received and processed correctly
* Managing members and their guests expectations
