Health & Safety Manager

Full time, 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday

Paying up to £35,000 per annum

Based in Coventry

The Health & Safety Manager you will ensure that all site H&S is kept up to date and is accurate regarding all legal legislation and policies ensuring any relevant H&S training is being completed where necessary.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Plan, review and implement the H&S training, processes and policies

Complete H&S audits on the Warehouse department

Provided guidance and advise on H&S matters across departments

Prepare reports on accidents, determining the cause of the incident

Manage H&S training for employees and visitors

Conduct risk assessments and ensure employees are adhering to H&S regulations

Provided H&S and tracking reports to management and other departments when required

Provide H&S training to staff members

ABOUT YOU

A minimum of 3 years experience as a H&S Manager in a Freight or Logistics Warehouse environment

Experience writing H&S policies and procedures

Knowledge of H&S data analysis and report writing

Good knowledge of H&S legislation's and procedures along with knowledge of hazardous materials or practices

Excellent communication skills

Be organised with the ability to multitask and work to several deadlines at once

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable - Institution of Occupational Safety & Health/National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health or similar qualification in Health & Safety
