We have an exciting new job opportunity available in Chelmsford to join a reputable and respected company as a Health & Safety Officer. This role will see you reporting to and working with the Group management team. This role involves driving and coordinating the highest standard of H&S in relation to the management, implementation and maintenance of procedures across the few sites in UK.

As a H&S Officer, the primary duty is to plan, direct and control the activities which include:
" Drive the companies Health and safety policy across the business.
" Drive to make changes that are fully compliant with legislation and health and safety.
" Lead in house training and coaching at all levels to ensure employs meet their H&S responsibilities
" Conduct risk assessments and review these with managers to reduce any risks.
" Conducting regular audits and compliance checks.
" Over seeing and supporting with any long-term developments and setting high standards of awareness
" Reviewing accidents, incidents reports and conduct monthly reviews.
" Liaising with external advisers and customers
