Job Description

Are you experience in Health & Safety with over two years experience in a H&S focused role? Do you hold relevant Health & Safety qualifications?

If so, this could be the perfect role for you. Working at the company's main office in the Aintree area, you will be expected to support the Health & Safety manager in line with both local and corporate Health & Safety issues.

If the above sounds of interest and you wish to apply for this role, you MUST have the following skills and experience:

At least two years recent experience in a Health & Safety focused role.

Have a NEBOSH qualification or working towards a NEBOSH certificate accrediting.

Experienced in Fire Risk Assessment

Able to offer H&S advice to managers alongside accident/incident reporting and investigating.

It would also desirable for the right candidate to be a member of IOSH although this isn't an essential part of their application process.

Day to day duties in this role include:

Monitoring compliance standards and processes whilst also monitoring processes, communications and training in the ensuring of responsibilities that are associated with Health & Safety within are adhered too.

Offering resolutions to a number of differing solutions that would include: main occupiers, service users, landlords and contractors.

Ensuring that correct Health & Safety and Fire Safety Policies are being implemented across the company.

Ensuring that all accidents are effectively and efficiently recorded and reported to the highest standard whilst undertaking investigations where and when required.

Identifying training requirements and working closely with the Learning and Development team in the delivery and development of suitable Health & Safety training.

Checking all regulations are in place when contractors are present to the company.

Assisting in the recruitment and management of contractors who would be working on or within the company's premises.
