Brook Street Social Care is offering a new exciting and rewarding role as a part-time Health and Safety Officer.

You will be working as part of the Health and Safety team to achieve compliance in all required areas. Supporting the Client to embed positive safety culture within their Supported Living Buildings and across the Organisation.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

" Supporting and promoting a positive safety culture within the premises
" Ensure that responsibilities for Health and Safety are co-ordinate and completed to maintain staff, volunteer, client, contractor safety, following Health and Safety Manager directions.
" Create up to date and accurate H&S folders.
" Liaise with Housing Associations, Private Landlords, and other providers to ensure compliance paperwork is received.


ABOUT YOU:

" You are SKILLED, ORGANISED and METICULOUS.
" You have ability to train Staff
" You can great influencing, persuading, and negotiating skills

MUST:

" DRIVING LICENSE AND ACCESS TO YOUR OWN CAR(REQUIRED)
" ABILITY TO USE MICROSOFT WORD, EMAIL AND BASIC SPREAD SHEETS
" A PROVEN TRACK RECORD IN MANAGING HEALTH AND SAFETY AT THE REQUIRED LEVEL
" EXPERIENCE IN HOUSING OR RELATED FIELDS
