My Public Sector Client based in Central Birmingham, is looking for a Health & Safety Support Officer to support their organisation, specifically providing project support for COVID related matters. This is a temporary ongoing role, Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.30pm, 37.00 hours a week.
The key purpose of this role is to ensure compliance with COVID guidelines regarding internal health, safety and security policies.
You will work closely onsite with Senior Persons to meet reporting deadlines for local assessments, review risk assessments, identify new risks and then liaise with contractors and facilities management and security.
This role will require regular updates and information to be provided to Operations and Delivery Managers to ensure that information is accurate and up to date. You will also be expected to play a key role in local projects to support business delivery and COVID recovery.
This role will require a clear DBS to be in place, funded by yourself initially, but reimbursed within 4 to 6 weeks on assignment.
This role is paying £9.50 for under 25s or £10.02 for those over 25. After 12 working weeks this will rise to £11.69 for all workers.
