Job Description

Health Records Clerk
Are you an experienced Health records clerk looking for your next opportunity?
Are you ready to get stuck into your new challenge?
We have an exciting role that will be perfect for you, it will be working within a busy team providing an effective healthcare records service following policies and procedures ensuring all records are kept up to date and are made available within agreed timeframes and deadlines.

Areas of the role include:
" Ensuring all Health Records are filed, processed on a daily basis, accurately and within deadlines
" Have an understanding of clinicians needs in relation to Health Records using tact and diplomacy in all communication.
" Input data for internal tracking systems and interpretation the borrower codes and location of records.
" Prioritise and follow policies and procedures
" Ensure handling of records complies with Health Records policy on manual handling.
" Comply with procedures on accurately labelling, processing and recording all boxes of records ready for collection, ensuring box weights do not exceed health and safety guidance.

Essential
" GCSE A-C Grades in English and Maths
" Experience of working with IT systems
" Being able to use and maintain excel spreadsheets
" Experience with working on own initiative.
" Previous Health Records or appropriate experience.


Please note heavy lifting is involved in this role.
Hours of work Monday - Friday 9-5pm, 37.5hrs per week
Pay rate £10.04
Temp role for 12 weeks
