Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Advisor
Paying up to £35,000

Based in Coventry
National travel will be required with some overnight stays

Working as the HSE Advisor you will be responsible for reporting in the HSE Manager ensuring that all HSE is being completed correctly onsite and across the company.

The role is based in Coventry however travel will be required across a UK basis with some overnight stays included.

This is a brand-new position to the business where they are looking for someone that can build good working relationships across the internal departments, identifying areas for improvement and development whilst also liaising with clients.

Main responsibilities will include:
Working with all staff and departments across the business to ensure company compliance and procedures are meeting met and adhered with
Actively promoting the practical application of health & safety working
Reviewing and working with teams to agree solutions to manage risk
To conduct internal audits reviewing and advising where appropriate, following up on non-compliance

For this position, the ideal skill set will include:
Experience in an HSE, Health &Safety or similar industry
Knowledge working from a building or construction background is highly desirable or knowledge or working across dual site locations
Practical application of CDM 2015
NEBOSH qualification
Experience completing health & safety audits across multi site locations

Knowledge completing audits on temporary and permanent site locations - desirable
IOSH - desirable

In the position you will be a self starter able to work on your own initiative as well as collaborating with the wider team and managers. You will be pro-active in your approach to work with a flexible and mature approach along with excellent communication skills.

For this position you must be able to drive and be happy with overnight stays - approx. once per week.
