Job Description

Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of a national government body for up to 3 IT support agents on 6-month temporary contracts to start early November.

These roles will initially be working from home, but you may be required to return to the office at a later date, therefore candidates must be able to travel to the office in Coventry city centre. Candidates must also have access to their own laptop/computer to be able to work from.

These roles will be offering support to local authorities, schools and academies regarding laptops and digital devices being issued, these queries are logged by an online ticketing system and it will be your job to offer first line support and try to resolve these queries.

Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, able to offer a fast and effective service to stakeholders and have experience working in a similar 1st line support role previously.

Please note that due to the nature of the role a basic DBS check will be processed for successful candidates.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, the core working hours are flexible but would normally start between 8am and 9:30am and finish between 4:30pm and 6pm, with 1 hour for lunch.

The hourly rate of pay is £14.71 per hour.
