Job Description

We're recruiting for a Helpline Advisor to start ASAP

Hours: Full Time, shift patterns according to rota (days/afternoons/evenings)
Location: Birmingham, England
Pay: £22362


  • To handle sensitive phone calls
  • To assist customers with queries, and to provide assistance to helpline practice manager.
  • To assess information and be able to escalate accurately
  • To input data onto system


- To appropriately handle contacts where the customer may be distressed, and manage the information.
- Escalate calls accurately, and be able to judge the urgency of calls
- To collect/collate statistics in order to provide performance data and evidence of customer service
- Ability to respond politely and sensitively, whilst following correct procedures and guidelines
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to control telephone conversations effectively
