Job Description
My government education client is looking for Helpdesk agents to join their team on a part time basis on a 6 month contract.
Close to great transport links, and in a newly refurbished building by Piccadilly train station.
The suitable applicant will work on a part time capacity either Monday to Friday between 9am and 1pm, or during term time working 9am until 3pm - dependent on your flexibility.
This role is at £13.31 per hour, with the contract due to last until the end of December 2025.
Duties include but not limited to
- Answer calls to the national line on a full time basis, promoting a first time resolution of calls where appropriate, or signposting to relevant colleagues/correspondence teams if required
- Using the telephony briefing system as a first point of call to quickly analyse the customer need and ensuring the relevant answer is provided
- Maintaining close and effective working relationships with internal and external colleagues
- Ensuring up-to-date and accurate briefing is used for all replies
- Searching the departments CRM to provide feedback to callers on when correspondence has been received
- Maintaining close and effective working relationships with internal and external colleagues
- Ensuring the sharing of up to date policy information with team, through email, conversations and in team meetings
Successful applicants will be subject to a 3 year referencing period, and also a DBS basic
