About the DIO Accommodation Project Team
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project developing the new Service Accommodation investment strategy for Defence estate infrastructure, developing the Department's readiness to support business transformation. HEO Project Coordinator
Project coordinators play an active role in project management by overseeing and coordinating project activities, tasks, and resources. This role involves managing project schedules, timelines, and deliverables, as well as facilitating communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with the team and project managers to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and supporting project team members in achieving goals.

Key Responsibilities (Not exhaustive)
- Coordinating and overseeing project activities, tasks, and resources.
- Managing project schedules, timelines, and deliverables.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration among team members and
stakeholders.
- Monitoring project progress, tracking milestones, and updating project status
reports.
- Resolving project-related issues, risks, and challenges in a timely manner.
- Supporting project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring project activities.
- Ensuring project quality, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction throughout the
project lifecycle.

Skills
- Project Management: Proficiency in coordinating project activities, managing project
schedules, and overseeing project tasks and resources.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration, convey
information effectively, and engage with project team members and stakeholders. As
well as strong written skills to draft reports and documents.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify project issues, risks, and challenges, and develop
solutions to ensure project success.
- Leadership: Capability to lead and motivate project team members, delegate tasks,
and drive project progress.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines,
and manage project timelines effectively.
- Stakeholder Management: Skill in managing relationships with project stakeholders,
addressing their needs, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
- Risk Management: Experience in assessing project risks, developing risk mitigation
strategies, and monitoring risk throughout the project lifecycle.
- Technical Proficiency: Able to use technology effectively, i.e Microsoft office
applications including Microsoft project to co-ordinate project documentation across
stakeholders, track progress, and provide regular comms updates effectively.
- Adaptability: Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment. As the
project develops it is anticipated the role requirements will evolve, and is
suited to a person who is flexible and adaptable to changing needs.

Experience:
- Previous experience in project coordination roles, overseeing project activities and
managing project resources.
- Exposure to project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience of working in project teams, collaborating with cross-functional
departments, and driving project success
