Brook Street Recruitment are currently working on behalf of our client who are currently seeking a Full Time HGV Breaker to join their expanding team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Bringing trucks in, draining oil and dismantling the vehicles to their key parts in line with the dismantling schedule
* Checking the condition of component parts for damage and functionality
* Identifying, tagging, labelling and storing parts appropriately
* Ensuring Company time recording processes are complied with at all times
* Ensuring that workshop facilities, equipment and tools are kept clean, tidy and maintained
* Wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as and when appropriate
* Ad hoc duties as directed by management

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

* Previous experience of breaking/dismantling vehicles is highly desirable
* Mechanical knowledge of vehicles (preferably HGV`s) is preferable
* Possession of own toolbox is highly desirable
